WORSE COMES TO WORST
Politics is a game that is so complex to comprehend. As such at any point in time, one has to work for the best and prepare for the worse. However, preparation for the worse in politics does not mean accepting your fate and let go. Rather, it means taking advantage of the worst possible outcome.
“Worse comes to worst” is the title of a piece I had thought will be the last joker on the reasons we have to re-elect Buhari comes February 16th. Yes, beyond the hopes of sustaining the unparallel infrastructural development, reliable economic structure and policy, improved security, emancipation and active involvement of youths in politics, laudable anti-corruption strike and national and international rebranding of Nigeria that are the gains of the Buhari led administration, I had thought of a worst possible scenario of Buhari becoming unfit for the sit few years to come.
“God’s willing it will never happen. Buhari will lead us successfully through the next glorious level by God’s grace. But if worse comes to worst, Presidency will return to us in the west and that more than qualified Prof. will sustain the developmental tempo”. This was what I intended to preach with my initial piece “worse comes to worst”; but something changed. The reason why men should not rely on our reasoning resonates in the event of Osinbajo chopper’s land crashing. That whom I have thought will succeed baba would have gone before him. God is great.
Thank God that has not happened. Indeed I am happy and I pray that every individual in this NEXT LEVEL train will see the end at their best. But nevertheless worse comes to worst, it is better to keep hanging at this level than falling for these monsters. NEXT LEVEL is a deal.
BUHARI TILL 2023!!!

Appeal court did not Affirm Adeleke's eligibility

BURSTED.... Appeal Court in Akure did not affirm Adeleke's eligibility - Olufemi Ayandokun Esq. The 1st-3rd Respondents in Appeal No. CA/AK/81/2019 and CA/AK/81/2019 decided on 06/04/2019 have taken note of the news making the rounds that the Akure Division of The Court of Appeal therein affirmed that Sen. Nurudeen Adeleke was eligible to contest the recently held gubernatorial elections in OSUN State. The Court of Appeal made no such pronouncement. The Appeal bordered on whether the Federal High Court sitting at Osogbo was right to have dismissed the preliminary objection raised by Sen. Nurudeen Adeleke in the Suit challenging his eligibility. It was his contention that the Suit was not filed within 14 days of the Party Primaries nominating him. He contends s.285(9) Constitution of The Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended by the 4th Alteration Act was not complied with. He maintained that stance even in the face of s.31(5) of the Electoral Act 2010(as amended) which allo...
